Phil Harms - Director of Sales

Phil has worked with Progress since 1988 when all one had to do to sell it was compare it to COBOL during the demo. He was employee number 13 at QAD in 1987, and worked throughout the company, including Implementations, Support, Pre-sales, Account Management and Global Services. He’s done several product implementations, as recently as 2006 and is familiar with all versions and most modules of MFG/PRO since release 2.0. He has specialized in SSM since its inception and is a Professor Emeritus at QAD University. He is certified in versions 6, 7, and 8. Phil has worked in the manufacturing industry for thirty-three years on ‘both sides of the table’, for manufacturers and software vendors. He earned his APICS certification in 1981. He’s deeply in tune with the pain points of the manufacturing industry, particularly as the landscape has globalized in the last several years. He finds TailorPro a great tool because he says the impossible becomes mundane. If he’d had this product “back when” he’d have never lost a deal.
